...the next 2 layouts i created using a card kit ( i will be adding the dyed dollie scraps to the kit) - plus if you scrap boys i already have you sorted with colours... on the 27th of November at our local scrap shop we are having a little social get together scrap night where all the girls will have fun recreating these two LO's...

...this LO was inspired by the talented Lucy Edson too... loved her ruffles...

...you will be - masking - making buttons - stamping - glimmer misting - doodling - painting - making frill strips - distressing /curling... bring it on!!!!!!

... this LO is just for fun..... I loved making my XXXL j and also my babushka doll.... I so wanted to make some hot air balloons too... so this is it... i used some denim and also practiced my french knots... handmade buttons - flowers - clouds - hot air balloons...

totally cute as.......

"baby sweet feet"

.....oh my .... don't ya just love the babushka dolls.... after creating the XXXL j... i just had to make one of these dolls and use the thin strips of foam in the same way.... it's totally cute as ..and then while shopping yesterday i saw a cushion with all theses fabric circles and beads... so i just had to create that same look for the background ..... I've also just started a canvas for baby j's room... lets just say it's full of doodles, clouds, hot air balloons and butterflies.... can't wait to finish it.... just got lots of hand stitching to it....but lets just say the hot air balloons are done with foam strips!!!!!

baby j and a giveaway......

...so here it is the Lo I create just for this little girl..... it's a collage of pics from birth to 3 mths.... i am really behind in scrapping these photos... but i figure this will help me along the way... seeing alot of the pics printed has me moving along....... i made this XXXXL monogram by drawing a j and them machine stitching a border.... cut a heap of thin foam strips and mod podge them down... cut your j out and photo collage the background stuck that sweet looking j down and just added some embellies around it... i so love this....

...and on to this.... lots of handmade goodies ready for a scrappy person to play with.... so if you would like a chance ...just leave some love and you'll be in the draw.....

- buttons - dye dollies - felt yo yo - fabric patch flower - and the leftover dollie edge pull into a flower....that's whats up....

Oh and while I was dyeing her white t-shirts i thru in some dollies that have been in the cupboard for a while....white is not a good color where we live....and I stole the kids nursery rhyme book to...it was looking a bit trashed but!!!!

Just a little bit of scrappiness...... using up some of the dozens of flowers I made.... still love' em........ I got myself a darning foot so that I can do free motion sewing.... so can't wait to play with that!!!!!

I have been asked to be a part of an awesome gig for 2010.......the " Scrapbooking Memories 2010 Creative Team"..... My sweet baby girl is 2 mths old...... WOW that has just gone so quick... I would love for things to just slow down a wee bit...her favorite spot is hanging out at mummy's milk bar.... she is getting very very rollie looking.... love it!!!!

Have been catching up on some last year Xmas photos..... which has been fun..... creating my own embellies to finish them off. Handmade felt flowers using up scraps of felt just cut different sizes circles and layer layer layer and top with a button. Handmade spottie buttons by Miss Wally and her spottie paintbrush.....

How to and materials used:

-spottie pattern paper,old book and music pages, chipboard, glue stick, three different size circle punches, croc-a-dile hole punch.

1. Punch paper and chipboard
2. Glue punch paper onto chipboard
3. Allow to dry
4. Now punch button holes
5. Now have fun and scrap them..................

It's this weeks color combo at color combo galores..... i took some sewing inspiration from Jo Kinder and the next step ... a place filled with awesome ideas... why not have a go....the idea i have used is called doodling sewing... i so love it!!!!

A little masking and glimmer mist here using my acrylic birdcage and bird as the mask.... love it plus a large painted scallop border...and a little bit more of some handmade goodies... demin flower and button.

this is my effort for colour combos galore.... I think I kind of missed the color mark a bit.... but really love how this turned out anyway. as you can see these are my JB look-a-like buttons. plus another one of my handmade tissue flowers!

Well this is what i have been doing over the weekend .... making some vinatge and funky flowers using up scraps of tissue paper and my maternity jeans, bits of foam, tulle, tissue paper from old dress patterns, pearls buttons, felt and brads. They are easy to make.... just cut heaps of different size circles and scrunch and layer layer layer.......add your finishing touch....buttons, pearls or brads...... oh and glimmermist is a must to.... and even stamping looks good also... thats what i am about to do...as the stamps have cob-webs on them...it's been awhile!!!

Just a quick note to everyone that has wished us all well and congrats.... i want to say Thank you all so much for your beautiful comments...... i have loved reading them all and when i do get a bit of a break I will be back to thank you all on your blogs too! Anyway a pic of the girls with their baby sister.
Remember this: Sore boobs, 1 minute showers, cold cups of teas, watching everyone else eat while you feed the baby, sleeping in the chair all night, doing everything with one hand, sleepless nights! That's just some of what I have been doing...... But I would not change a thing.... I only have to look at her and I melt!!!!!!
Oh and for scrappin some LO's ........ I am working on that!!!!
